Experience Days

We run experience days on request. Letterpress enthusiasts are welcome to spend a day at “The Wilderness” to create individual items.

We prefer that parties number no more than six people so everyone enjoys the full experience. John and/or Richard will be on hand to offer help and assistance when required. Our aim is that visitors are “hands on” from the start and at the end of the experience end up with a finished product and “inky fingers”.

Previous enthusiasts have produced their own wedding invitations, letterheads, correspondence cards and wall plaques. For as little as £15* for an hour’s visit, you can book an experience that your dad will never forget. Have a go at printing a poster with a favourite quotation on our 1830’s Columbian Eagle Press or a set of greetings cards on our Heidelberg presses.

Our experience days are available on Saturdays (subject to availability) and you can choose a design you would like to print with John and Richard ahead of the experience day, or select a pre-set design to print on the day using original wooden type – the choice is yours! It’s a great way to experience using a Letterpress and get ‘hands on’ creating a unique gift experience.

It’s also a great opportunity to see what else Cupiss Letterpress has to offer. We would be happy to show you some examples of the type of things we print – from greetings cards, short run books, wedding and business stationery and more.

If you’re interested in booking a taster session, would like more information on available dates or would like to discuss what you would like to print, please speak to John or Richard on 01379 642045 or email your query to info@cupissletterpress.co.uk.

We hope to see you soon!
